We are excited to announce that Evenflo Plumbing will once again be partnering with the Corvallis Boys & Girls Club to bring Holiday cheer to our local community! Last year with the help of our customers we were able to provide a ton of toys for the kids of the Corvallis Boys and Girls Club. This year we want to donate even more!!
The Club provides a safe place and life-enhancing opportunities for kids. Hundreds of children in our community struggle with uncertain and unstable homes. Your support helps kids blossom into young adults. From December 1st through the 21st, Evenflo will waive your $49 evaluation fee if you donate to this great cause!
How to Donate
Give your technician a unwrapped toy at the end of the job and our office will waive your $49 evaluation fee. You can also bring a toy into our office at 6240 SW Reservoir Ave in Corvallis and we will give you a coupon for a free evaluation, redeemable at anytime! That way no one misses out on giving back to our local community or a good deal on plumbing services!
What to Donate
Toys should be new and unwrapped and are needed for children ages 5-18. However, they are specifically in need of toys for the age range of 5-14 years old. Some favorite toys at the Club right now include: Bluetooth speaker, Velvet scrunchies, Hydro flasks, Tech decks, Slime kits, Phone accessories, Headphones, Video games, Pop sockets, Lego, Star Wars, Pokémon, My Littlest Pet Shop, Roblox, Marvel, Minecraft, Fortnite, Hotwheels, Disney, Frozen, Squishies-Anything unicorn, kitten, rainbow, narwhal, or food related, Keychains, Fun child friendly decal stickers, Paw patrol, Fidgets, and Hatchimals. Toys in the Clubhouse that are often in need of being replaced are items such as hula hoops, jump ropes, basketballs or popular games like Uno or brain teasers. They also have a Lego table that gets a lot of use and could always use additional legos to play and share. The Club did make it clear that they do not want any toy guns, as they are not allowed in the Clubhouse.
Where do the Toys go?
The Corvallis Boys and Girls Club chooses some specific items that are donated and set them up in a toy store like setting. The parents of the families that are identified as in need then get to go “Holiday shopping” for their kids, selecting toys and games they want to gift. The additional donations that are not selected for this are used to replace broken toys that are necessary for the Club to function and remain relevant for the children they work with.
